You will love the Caldon Canal. My husband and I went there in May this year
and although the weather could have been better, it was a beautiful, peaceful,
scenic canal. Froghall is well worth exploring and don't miss going in the
Holly Bush pub!! We also went along the Leek arm which was also charming. The
terminus is a bit drab if you want to walk into Leek it'self to do shopping, it
is quite a trek through not so good surroundings. But there is a lovely walk
along the feeder towards Rudyard Lake.
