When I use the embedded tomcat to start CAS I see logs generated in the same directory from which I issue the ./build.sh run command.
On the other hand, When I deploy the cas.war file to a local tomcat server, I get no logs and I see the following error in catalina.out -AsyncLoggerConfig-10 ERROR An exception occurred processing Appender casPerf java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: No log appender could be found for perfFileAppender I've looked in log configuration file in etc/cas/config and I don't see a simple "put the logs here" directive. I see patterns for file names and log rotate. Is it possible I need to be working with a tomcat configuration?
