Watched an osprey take off from Beebe Lake about 10:45 AM today, with a small fish in its talons. It circled a few times, then flew off to the south. Meanwhile, two kingfishers were pursuing each other, sometimes right below the osprey. About 20 minutes later, another, or maybe the same osprey appeared, slowly circling and hovering above the lake as it moved from west to east. Very nice! Betsy
