Hi

Wanted to ask that what does " pagp port-priority " does ..?

Why I am asking is that :

1) In case of LACP ; the command "lacp port-priority" keeps a track of ports
in standby mode which can be brought to etherchannel provided some link
presently in etherchannel goes down . Lower the value .. better is chance of
coming in channel .

i.e the end which has lower sys-priority .. the port-priority make sense
there as the end with lower lacp system priority will
make decision as to which ports are candidates for channel ..

i.e 1/1 ----1/1
     1/2 ----1/2
      .
      .
     1/16 -----1/16

presently 1/1 to 1/8 are in channel . If one of these fail and we want 1/10
to come in bundle .. we go and configure lower port priority under 1/10 on
the end which has a lower LACP system priority ..

If pagp port-priority does the same thing .. this can be used at any end
.. is that so ?
