AIM-CUE / NM-CUE doesn't really matter.
Difference of flash-based 'hdd' or actual 2.5" hdd. and a difference of how many ports it supports.
no difference in software for the version on the lab.
so if you can - I would say exchange the NM-CUE for the AIM-CUE.

Not sure what that means: "My problem is that I have a CUE mod
installed, that is why I thought that I could use the AIM-Voice-30"
Could you explain how having CUE is seemingly a problem?

Oh wait - I think I just got it - you have a NM-CUE not an AIM-CUE.
Got it.
Hmm - you could probably sell the NM-CUE (higher end - more ports) and
buy an AIM-CUE to fix the issue...?

Hi Chris,

Honestly - you don't want to use either. AIM-VOICE-30 - while a nice
concept - was mostly a headache (read:disaster) in the field. Not to
mention it is not the hardware in the lab - so your testing results
WILL vary a lot from the mileage you would get from the lab equipment.
AIM-ATM-VOICE-30 was the AIM-Voice with ATM AAL2/5 support - nothing
that is in the lab.

If you have 26xxXM routers - you really need to invest in NM-HDVs with

DSPs enough to support a few channels for T1 or E1. You DON'T need
enough dsps to light all channels - just a waste unless in production. No need to buy more expensive NM-HDV2s. If you had 28xx's then you can

put DSPs directly onto the motherboard to support VWIC-MFTs right in
the VWIC slots.

Cheers,

Hi,

I am also building my own lab and have been following this thread and

I have a question. I have 2611xm for branch 2 with max mem, CUE mod
and I am adding a 1MFT-E1. I am little confused by the documentation
on the Cisco web site. Apparently the AIM ATM Voice 30 In order to
use the E1 for voice I need either a AIM Voice 30 or an AIM ATM Voice

30. Would either work or should I use the AIM Voice 30.
