*We have a Postdoctoral Researcher (Bioinformatics/Data Bases/Computer
Science/Structural Biology) position in the Wallace lab which is part of
the Birkbeck/UCL Institute of Structural and Molecular Biology in London.*
Full Time, fixed-term post, initially for one year, with the possibility
of extension for up to a further 3.5 years. This post is funded by a
BBSRC Bioinformatics and Biological Resources Grant entitled
“Bioinformatics Resources for Circular Dichroism Spectroscopy and
Structural Biology: Operation, Enhancement, Curation, and Developments”.

This is a Postdoctoral–level position in bioinformatics, undertaking
development, creation, and curation of software and websites/webservers
and databases, producing new structural biology analysis methods,
software, and online tools/computer programs, and undertaking user
liaison functions via electronic and in-person methods. The postholder
will be primarily responsible for the execution of, design, curation,
maintenance functions, and day-to-day operation of the PCDDB (Protein
Circular Dichroism Data Bank) and the DichroWeb and DichroMatch analysis
servers. In addition, they will be expected to be the primary
contributor to the development of new analysis algorithms for novel
spectroscopic/structural biology methodologies.
Salary: Grade 7 of the College's London Pay Scale which is £37,169 -
£42,483 per annum, depending on exxperience. *The closing date for
