Look at the handling of SHARED_LIBGCC_SPEC and REAL_LIBGCC_SPEC in
particular. There appears to be nothing to match it in
gcc-4.4.0/gcc/config/i386/mingw32ce.h. Compare with how cygwin.h and
mingw32.h do it.
