it's not ok around here. We just had a brush fire this weekend. The bosque ( a wooded strip that runs through the center of town) caught fire several times last year. Believe me, they took it very seriously, and arrested some poor slob who started one fire by drinking beer and smoking a cigarette down by the river. This year we've had a fair amount of rain and may actually be coming out of the drought, but no, out here it is not an ok thing...
