08/01 � Current Maritz Travel Company
Created a coldfusion application to allow Maritz employees to view all of
the available training classes. Using a combination of coldfusion, html a
nd
JavaScript employees are able to sign up for the available classes in the
ir
area. On the administrative end, the trainers themselves are able to upda
te
the database through a simple intuitive interface. We are exploring the
reporting aspect presently.

Made all of the corporate training material available through the interne

Using coldfusion, I built a template for corporate trainers to have acces

to all of the training materials where ever they travel. As an added feat

employees are able to search the training material through a verity searc

to find information to aid them in their daily work. On the backend,
trainers are able to edit the manuals in Word in same way they are a
accustomed to and upload it through a coldfusion interface that breaks do
wn
the content to make it easier to navigate and search.

Along with the webmaster we recreated their web philosophy from a stale 9

construction website and intranet to a company that now uses the
intra/internet to doperform more efficiently. While consulting I was call
ed
on to create several business applications including � employee handboo
ks;
an improvement opportunity submission form for the company to receive and
analyze employee suggestions; a general document control panel to assist
the
ISO 9002 team; a building floor plan created in flash and searchable thro
ugh
coldfusion for employees to locate one another in the five floor office;
a
touch screen sign in kiosk created in flash for visitors to sign in and
gather information; and the corporate website.
