Yes, what Kent says. Also make sure the hole is large enough so the rubber will separate the bolt from any metal frame contact. You can still hear the pump, but it stops the amplification through the frame vibrations.

Try using the rubber "doughnuts" that come with a set of front shocks. They are about 1/2" thick.

I have the pump mounted with the cheesy rubber piece included with the pump. I think I'll try a thicker piece of rubber and longer bolts with rubber washers although I think the pump will still be noisy.

In regards to the noise level, is the pump mounting bracket attached directly to the frame, or do you have the bracket "sandwiched" with some rubber bushings ? If the noise level is still too loud, I found this info in my notes, Carter electric pump model P4600HP is quieter than the Holley red pump. And it feeds enough fuel to supply a Holley 850 on top of a ZZ502/502.
