New issue 17765 by tommarnk: html5 video tag and 1080p or 720p h264 needs
dxva support!
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=17765

Chrome Version : <Copy from: 'about:version'>
URLs (if applicable) :
Other browsers tested:
Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue:
   Firefox 3.x: FAIL

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. put a 1080p MPEG-4 AVC video in a html5 video tag
like these
http://movies.apple.com/movies/fox/ice_age_iii/iceage3-clip3_h1080p.mov
http://movies.apple.com/movies/fox/ice_age_iii/iceage3-clip3_h720p.mov
2. run the html5 file in chrome on a dual core machine
3. watch the slideshow

What is the expected result?
decode using DXVA so the graphics card can do the job? just like blu-ray

What happens instead?
a slide show on non quad core systems

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.
You can find a open source DXVA hardware decoding code for both h264 and
vc-1 by the Media Player Classic Home Cinema Team here
http://mpc-hc.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/mpc-
hc/trunk/src/filters/transform/mpcvideodec/

keep up the great work with chromium, just when the web went old, something
new came :)
