Comment #7 on issue 209 by Jonathan007: Pressing TAB does not move to the next item in the address bar results http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=209
I'd love to see this addressed, because I consider it a UI bug. If you don't have a URL that can be used for tab to search it just goes to the first focus spot on the page. I understand that it is used for tab to search, but would it not be useful to offer this as the default option if a search item cannot be pulled up? Or can an option be given to disable tab-to-search and the default disabled option be tab to browse the address bar? I'm assuming that chrome's initial target audience is the tech savvy and many of us are used to using certain key commands. This missing feature is literally the ONLY reason I'm using Firefox over Chrome. It is more efficient to use tab to go through the address bar instead of the arrow keys. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
