Hi Mohammad, If you try to boot the box with just that one RSP in it, the RSP should be in the bottom slot I guess. Do you have another RSP you could use to boot the box? If the box is fully booted with the spare RSP you could try to insert this faulty RSP to see if it will sync up successfully or it's dead indeed. Please not the sync up process may take even 45 minutes these CPUs are very very slow.

Once the RSP is booted try to insert the second one. And do the SW upgrade before you insert the interface cards - or you can upgrade just the primary RSP and then you can insert additional HW.
