Hello,

I did my clapf tests with clamd, and I did not notice any memory loss.

Please note the always_scan_message variable lets you to decide whether
to scan every single email or not.

Anyway it's up to the package maintainer to decide what configuration to
assemble.

Best regards,
Janos

I agree. Well then you two may combine your forces :-) You should
consent about the configure options. My recommendation is:

./configure \
--enable-clamd \

I strongly recommend using liblclamav. Unfortunately clamd eats up your memory.
BTW, it doesn't make sense using clamd anyway.

Am I not right?
