Hi Cobirders. The Loon I saw was definitely a non-breeding Red- necked Loon. I didn't have any guides with me but the non-breeding Arctic has much more black on neck and head. Of course is very rare here.
Today I went to Crown Hill off 26th avenue east of Kipling. Best bird was a Common Nighthawk seen about 11:30AM above the reservoir.
