Is there a way that seasoned cocoa (Obj-C) programers test particular parts of their
code without running the whole application? For instance if I have built
a particular interface component I would like to interact with it and verify
that the model is being changed correctly or simply demonstrate that it
works. I think that requires slightly more functionality than the IB simulator
gives.

I'm not looking for an automated testing framework like JUnit, just a way to way to run a particular part of my program like "main( String[] args)"
in Java.

I suppose you could do this by implementing extra build targets
but that would mean having several "applications" in the same project.
It sounds a bit heavy.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Frank
