German Eichberger commented on CASSANDRA-18666:
-----------------------------------------------

I know that cqlsh version 5.0.1 does not work while 6.1.0 does. So we can say
if you want to use virtual tables you not only need to use cassandra 4.0 or
later but also a cqlsh version later than 6.0? That would have helped me to
troubleshoot quickly.

I was under the impression that virtual tables were implemented on the server
and any cqlsh should be fine - since this is not the case I feel a Warning box
spelling out the minimum version would be helpful. Also that it took weeks to
get to the bottom is an indication that documentation is lacking.

> [Doc] Add to virtual table documentation that a minimum cq;lsh version is
> needed
