You're right, it should. The problem (as it seems to me, knowing nothing of the code) is that in writeRequestLine() of HttpMethodBase it always calls getName(), which for a PostMethod() object always returns "POST". That can easily be changed, or the logic of execute() can be changed, I'm sure. My two cents' worth. -Jeff Varszegi
