NullPointerException in SocketClient.getRemoteAddress()

Fair enough. In retrospect and upon further examination, I can not confirm that
the socket client was not programmatically disconnected at some point in the
program execution. So I'm closing this bug report.  

In place of the change I previously proposed, it might be nice to add "@throws
NullPointerException when the socketClient is not connected." to the relevant
method javadocs (e.g. getRemoteAddress, getRemotePort, ...).
