It is in CVS already. In the spirit of OS projects helping other OS projects, the file is in GIMP 1.2 format (.xcf). The file is located in "src/media" for a few projects - try Codec or CLI. To create a logo in this style, just:

1. copy this file to your project's directory. 1.5. (Get a copy of GIMP). 2. Open the image in GIMP,
3. right click and take a look at the layers. 4. Remove both the text layer and the drop shadow layer.
5. Make a new text layer witht he project specific text - Times Italic anywehre between 48 and 56 point.
6. Then, Script-Fu -> Drop Shadow...
