Hi there, I'm a Master's student in Environmental Policy at Berkeley, hoping someone out there can answer a few fairly broad questions about the relationship between community gardens and organic principles/methods. Is it safe to assume that most gardens adopt a policy of organic methods only? Were community gardens always (well, since the 70s, anyway) involved in sustainable farming techniques? Or does every place have a different history? And, finally, does the ACGA have a policy on this?
