Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like this implementation of groups will be in the core of CE, effecting models, shuffling fields.
Will this be backwards compatible? Is anyone working on a plugin based implementation of groups? Where a group feature can be added or removed? This would be much more conducive to the purposes that we use community engine.
