If you're using an external CD-ROM drive (as I suppose, because few people has
modified their CC to build an internal drive into it ;-) ), you have to attach a
pair of speakers or hearphones to the CD-ROM drive's hearphone plug, or connect
the two RCA outs in the back of the external case to your home stereo (if it has
them, that is). This is because the SCSI cable that connects the external drive
and the CC does transfer only commands and data - not audio.

P.S.: I know, this is not exact at 100%, because some CD-ROM drives can transfer
CD audio as digital data blocks trough the SCSI bus, but you need both the drive
and the CD player software to support that. And it's much simpler to just plug a
couple speakers to the drive.
