Public bug reported: Currently, when user have two windows open: maximized and unmaximized one, and if unmaximized one is focused, in order to close the maximized window, user needs to move the mouse to the upper part of the screen and click, or click on maximized window itself. Since menu is not visible, long menus force user to move his mouse further to the right.
Option is to focus maximized window by clicking on the upper-left part of the screen. This has its advantages; single click will focus maximized window in the background, double-click will allow user to close. In order to minimize this window, user won't have to move his mouse far. This can improve productivity in Unity environment. ** Affects: compiz (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of compiz packagers, which is subscribed to compiz in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/916323 Title: Focus maximized window by clicking on window title To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/compiz/+bug/916323/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~compiz Post to : compiz@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~compiz More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
