Hi, so sorry to hear that your stove is not working.
Hope you can get it fixed soon.
Well anyhow, you can use a small bag of black beans, pinto beans, or maybe even red beans would work.
Wash them and put them in your crock pot with about 8 cups of water.
Then add 2 tbsp of minced onion, 4 tsp. seasoning salt, and a few tbsp of cooking oil.
You can also put some garlic powder in the mixture if you like.
Mix everything together and put your crock pot on high.
Make sure to do this the night before you are going to make the chili.

You can leave the beans in the crock pot over night and they should be ready when you wake up the following morning.

Sincerely,

Rebeca

Subject: [CnD] Bean Help

Good Morning,
Due to a problem with my stove, I'm planning to use my Crockpot to make chili. Since I am using dried beans, what is the quickest way to prepare the beans?
Thanks for your help.
Suzanne
