Rich, Then I hope that it was logged taper shaft was installed. Ser# is 
stamped as what came from factory. The log entry would be the paper trail 
that follows the engine. 
   One of our A&P or AI what is the answer to this. Should the F be
crossed 
out? The engine now is not a flanged shaft. I have seen F stamp after a 
flanged was installed. 
   Then again the F is Only part of the dash number. ???? Is the dash part
of 
the Ser#?
