HI Erich, The remote MTA (h0050dac37259.ne.client2.attbi.com) is the mail server I just configured. I sent the mail from another system within the same local network. It shouldn't believe it's a relay, as the mail is intended for itself. So, I think there's something misconfigured on this server itself. Any idea what it might be ?

It is pretty obvious, the remote MTA (h0050dac37259.ne.client2.attbi.com) requires authentication for (probably) relaying. This is not really courier related, most reasonably configured MTA's require some sort of authentication, many are using POP before SMTP, but IMHO basically it is better to user correct SMTP authentication.
