I am trying to get SPF checking setup on my courier server.

I have added the following to bofh:

opt BOFHSPFMAILFROM=pass,none,softfail,neutral,unknown
opt BOFHSPFFROM=pass,none,softfail,neutral,unknown,mailfromok
opt BOFHSPFHARDERROR=fail

I am still getting some responses that return a tempfail 4xx code. I am
guessing I am not understanding the settings completely. I thought that
specifying "softfail" in the BOFHSPFMAILFROM and BOFHSPFFROM lists above
would cause mail with a soft fail to pass right on through. Also also set
BOFHSPFHARDERROR=fail to remove the default softfail in that variable.

Odd thing is that it is tempfailing on an address/ip combo that should be
working ([EMAIL PROTECTED] and 64.12.138.200). Is there some way to diagnose
this? I can query the TXT records for aol.com from the same DNS server the
courier server is using (from the courier box).

Thoughts?

Also is there a way to instruct courier to ignore SPF for certain domains?

Thanks,
