I'm sorry if we stepped on some toes here. With the tier-2 archs now being built on pointyhat, in some cases I've erred on the side of expediency in adding patches, especially when a quick sanity check that I do on my machine here doesn't show any regression. (Note: I didn't do that for this particular one.)
