Hello folks,

I am trying to find or build a version of U-Boot I can load via serial,
to program a blank flash chip on the DM355 EVM (I don't have a BDI2000).

I'm using "Sergey's dv-boot" and have that loading the UBL and U-Boot,
using the u-boot sources supplied with the DVEVM and dm355_evm_config,
but u-boot is unresponsive. Finding this:

http://www.mail-archive.com/davinci-linux-open-source@linux.davincidsp.com/msg01958.html

I uncommented
        #undef CONFIG_INIT_CRITICAL
(#define CONFIG_SKIP_LOWLEVEL_INIT is already there)
but no joy.

Any pointers would be appreciated, I am a newbie to u-boot and would
ideally prefer not to have to learn all its inner workings at this
stage.

Comments along the lines of "give up and buy a BDI2000" will be
seriously considered.
