A spreadsheet is a table. A table in the data base is the same as a table in a
document or at least it should be. Granted it might loose formatting being
transferred from a spreadsheet to a data base table, but you should still be
able to copy and paste directly into the table of the data base. Especially once
you have the fields already defined. I never had a problem doing this with
Works, which is generally considered an inferior program. Copying and pasting
data directly into the data base would be a great time-saver.
