It will tell you if you are missing some libraries. You can also use ldd -s (to see more ...) 2. export LD_LIBRAY_PATH=$ORACLE_HOME:$LD_LIBRAY_PATH 3. If you have changed something from Oracle side (version etc ...) => re-compile your DBI module.
