Source: python-language-server Followup-For: Bug #999524 Upstream lost write access to the python-language-server repo https://github.com/palantir/python-language-server/issues/935 so have forked the project to python-lsp-server at https://github.com/python-lsp/python-lsp-server
As part of the move they renamed the module from pyls to pylsp. The new version is packaged and available (python3-pylsp, src:python-lsp-server). python-language-server can be removed once spyder is updated for pylsp.
