Dear mantaniner,
rofi doesn't load an icon (winbox.png) if it's only in the 1024x1024 or
the 80x80 folder, ~/.local/share/icons/hicolor/1024x1024/apps/ or
~/.local/share/icons/hicolor/80x80/apps/ specifically. If I run:
$ G_MESSAGES_DEBUG=Helpers.IconFetcher rofi
I get the output:
[...]
(process:341194): Helpers.IconFetcher-DEBUG: 11:18:37.350: Query:

But if I copy the icon to any other folder under
~/.local/share/icons/hicolor/<folder>/app (be it 16x16, 24x24,32x32,
48x48, 64x64, 72x72, 96x96, 128x128, 256x256, or 512x512, I tried them
all) it works fine, rofi shows the icon. Now if I run
$ G_MESSAGES_DEBUG=Helpers.IconFetcher rofi
I get the output:
