Package: gdal-bin Version: 3.10.3+dfsg-1 Severity: wishlist X-Debbugs-Cc: [email protected]
Dear Maintainer, I use geoparquet files a lot. In particular, I create them in DuckDB using the spatial extension. However, I can't easily use the files in tools like QGIS and GDAL since the standard GDAL package does not include the parquet driver. Is it possible to add this in the future? It seems possible if libarrow is present, for example. -- System Information: Debian Release: 13.4 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable-security'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 7.0.0-15-generic (SMP w/12 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_OOT_MODULE Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: unable to detect Versions of packages gdal-bin depends on: ii libc6 2.41-12+deb13u3 ii libgcc-s1 14.2.0-19 ii libgdal36 3.10.3+dfsg-1 ii libstdc++6 14.2.0-19 ii python3 3.13.5-1 ii python3-gdal 3.10.3+dfsg-1 gdal-bin recommends no packages.
