Package: linux-image-2.6.18-3-686 Version: 2.6.18-8 After upgrading to package version 2.6.18-8, the headphone socket on my laptop (Dell Lattitude D420) stopped working. The sound plays fine through the speakers, but when plugging in headphones the speakers continue to play the audio, while the headphones remain silent.
Reverting to version 2.6.18-7 fixes the problem.
