Hi Joachim,

Since you seem to have an AGP board, you might want to try adding
        Option "BusType" "PCI"
to the Device section of your xorg.conf. It will make X use a regular
PCI mode and thus might workaround some broken AGP bridges.
Also playing with the AGP mode in the BIOS could help.

Apart from that, there's a libgl1-mesa-dri 7.0.1 and xserver-xorg-video-ati
6.6.193 in experimental, in case it helps for any of your bugs.
