Package: graphicsmagick-imagemagick-compat
Version: 1.1.11-3.2
Severity: important

Please see bug report # 514456 concerning imagemagick (and 514488 sorry, my
mistake with
adding to the first bug
report) where I found encoding 720x540 .jpg photos to a slideshow to be very
slow.
Graphicsmagick-imagemagick-compat is about 11% slower, which is not so much of
an issue,
but imagemagick was 258% slower. As instructed, I am filing a separate bug
report so the
dev team can reach and maintain 100% compatibility as directed by Bastien
ROUCARIES
