I thought there was a bug fix in gcc CVS that addressed this? > - trying to strip the sparc64 files, fails: > > strip: Warning: Output file cannot represent architecture UNKNOWN! Which files? The compiler binaries themselves (gcc, cc1, etc) should be sparc32. The libraries would be 64-bit. I just checked the binutils on vore and it does report supporting elf64_sparc, so that message shouldn't happen. Oh wait! binutils-multiarch is installed, and it doesn't have elf64_sparc support! That's the problem...let me remove that package and put this bug on binutils-multiarch. Try the build again Matthias. -- .----------=======-=-======-=========-----------=====------------=-=-----. / Ben Collins -- Debian GNU/Linux \ ` [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] ' `---=========------=======-------------=-=-----=-===-======-------=--=---'
