tags 225346 + upstream thanks I'm leaving this to Ludovic, who wanted to take care of the gnat component of gcc. A similiar patch has been applied to gnat, but cannot be found on the gcc HEAD branch.
For gnat (3.15p) a patch exists for powerpc and sparc. Sebastian D.B.
