Source: newlib
Version: 4.4.0.20231231-3
Severity: important
X-Debbugs-Cc: carl917...@packages.debian.org, gcc-sh-...@packages.debian.org

The sh port of newlib assumes common data which is no longer the
default behaviour of gcc. This results in a broken gcc-sh-elf:

https://ci.debian.net/packages/g/gcc-sh-elf/testing/arm64/47454116/

This appears to be fixed upstream:

https://sourceware.org/git/?p=newlib-cygwin.git;a=commitdiff;h=36e398b04e91668403bac94b4c28f4822997b535

but I haven't yet tested this.

Ben.
