I see no reason why this has to be a problem.  We do not have
namespace conflicts now, even between non-us and the other archives.
People can easily enough check /var/lib/dpkg/available.  If that's not
sufficient, non-free people can add "nf-" or something to the package
names.

It's not that hard.
