Yes, the plussed address are an excellent filter.

$ grep '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' /var/log/exim4/mainlog | wc -l
177
$ grep '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' /var/log/exim4/mainlog | wc -l
157
$

The 157 include all legitimate e-mail.
