My guess is you need to build the header at least, and perhaps the source. It depends on how you're building the modules I suppose. In any case, you'll have to run either fakeroot make-kpkg --append-to-version -curt1.0 kernel_headers fakeroot make-kpkg --append-to-version -curt1.0 kernel_image And install the debs.
