there is no need to use that agressive tone and caps there, the issue is that the jaunty shared-mime-info doesn't make the difference between linux and microsoft autoruns so you either enable all of those or don't do autorun, since the vast majority of CD and other media having autoruns are microsoft binaries which lead to errors under linux and confuse users and almost no linux media is using autoruns it has been decided to turn the autorun option in jaunty until that get changed in a proper way in karmic, you might be one of those few linux autorun users in which case you can unset the gconf keys corresponding to the change, if you don't know how to do that that's an user question and not a bug
