Foresight Linux 0.8 released! We are proud to present you Foresight Linux 0.8! Reacting on critics we increased the speed of the installation process. It is up to 60% faster! We also included a new bootsplash and did lots of cosmetic things. To ensure the absolute up-to-dateness of Foresight Linux we updated nearly all packages. Old and new highlights are conary (revolutionary packagement program) and nice tools like Beagle and F-Spot.
Also included is the latest version of Oversite systems management tool. Which now has a gui configuration interface. It is still under development, but is currently very functional for keeping you system up to date! This is the official release announcement, please publish it in the forum Gil! I already sent a little modificated (older) version to distrowatch.com, it's not yet published. Because of an misunderstanding it doesn't contain the part about Oversite.
