This package currently includes initng sysvinit replacement; handles system & service control - ngc an application for controlling initng - initfiles/* service scripts for startup/shutdown - fixes/* experimental patches and fixes
The idea is to boot your system as soon as be possible, so initng can perform a process while launch another instead wait for the first one. The guy who develop it is working too in stadistics over the system and this init can increase the booting time much. So.. you need to write some boot scripts. do you think is hard? it deserve our time? 2005/8/23, Roman Glebov <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > > > is it sysvinit compatible, or do we need then to rewrite all our init > scritpts of all packages? > _______________________________________________ > Desktop-distro mailing list > [email protected] > http://lists.bizrace.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-distro > _______________________________________________ Desktop-distro mailing list [email protected] http://lists.bizrace.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-distro
