e10s is an abbreviation of electrolysis, which is the name of the project that splits Firefox into multiple processes. Alexandre isn't wrong, but the page for the old XUL+multiprocess design of Firefox for Android isn't the best link here :)

Since we are relying on separates processes for apps in B2G ... :)
