But don't despair! A solution is in the wings that in addition to supporting PKI also supports OTP (symmetric key) provisioning. It will initially emerge on Google's Android because this system has attracted a really big crowd of shrewd open source developers in a very short time in spite of the fact that Android is still only a "technology preview".
