Ok, the current plan is for RC3 on Friday. There's outstanding bugs, but
most of them are getting into more obscure Ruby territory or into Java
integration stuff we're just not going to tackle right now. So we're
thinking an RC3 release Friday gives folks the weekend and most of next
week to give it one more runthrough, and we'll target a 1.0 release
toward the end of next week (possibly from Tokyo...we want it available
for the Ruby Kaigi).
So have a look at the list of bugs, and if there's anything on the RC3
list that isn't fixed, now's your chance to donate a patch. Friday
morning we're gonna start dumping the ones we can't resolve, since
they're either not affecting many people or require more drastic
(potentially regression-inducing) changes we don't want right before 1.0.
